Adam Rot | workshop | HBK Saarbrücken | 2016

Type design revival workshop with the students of HBK Saarbrücken and ANRT Nancy. Adam Rot's type was revived, from the second volume of Super sexto Decretalium, a canon law book by Dominicus de Sancto Geminiano printed in Rome in 1471. After studying the orginal at the library in Metz the students worked together on a digital form of the typeface at HBK Saarbrücken. The workshop is part of the Gotico-Antiqua research program conducted at ANRT, National Institute for Typographic Research, Nancy.
